Jacqueline Balderrama grew up in Redlands, California. Currently, she is pursuing an MFA in poetry at Arizona State University, where she teaches and
serves as Poetry Editor for Hayden's Ferry Review. Her most recent work has appeared in San Pedro River Review, Miramar, and the The Missing Slate.
On Libations: "I don’t drink alcoholic beverages, so my favorite libation would have to be a sorbet punch. It’s sprite and lemonade with an ice mold
and a generous pile of raspberry sorbet. It’s fizz, delicious, and good for parties. I will also go for a strawberry lemonade if the strawberries are real."
