Volume 8 (Fall 2014)

How do we go on when what we believed we knew, what we never even questioned as true, is turned inside and out? When we love someone who transforms before our eyes? This debut collection takes on the difficult subject matter of how a marriage changed, about how gender fluidity is transforming the way we see relationship, but it is also a collection about grief and re-embracing the world, of forgiveness and re-examination of one's own centrality in the world. Giving new meaning to the phrase, “seeing through the eyes of another,” these poems ultimately are about hope and honor in an ever changing life, the only kind any of us every really inhabits.
